If you have a serious hankering for Chinese food in the Soo, this buffet does the trick. If the owner is manning the kitchen that day, the food quality goes up a notch.
You'll find most of the usual suspects on the small hot tables every day -- crisp egg rolls and crab rangoon, flavorful chicken wings, decent lo mein and fried rice, as well as a choice of five or six entrees and sides, and two Asian soups. (Don't miss the owner's hot&sour soup if it's there.) The cold table offers fruit, pudding and salads, some passable California rolls, and a mixed offering of dessert cakes with a soft serve station.
Yes, it's all targeted at the taste buds of the locals, and Yuppers aren't known for seeking out adventurous dining. But the service is consistently attentive, the food is always hot and, given that this is the only game in town for Chinese buffet, they do a respectable job. Just don't come looking for high-end Asian cuisine -- this is a very small town, after all -- and you won't be disappointed. -

Worst meal ever. We ate at 6:00 and I believe the food was left over from lunch. Dried out and disgusting. Cost us $31.00, avoid this place.

Food is really good but service can sometimes not be the best, but the biggest issue is the price. They are pricing themselves right out of the market. And any buffet that cuts you off when transitioning from lunch to dinner should be condemned. They told us lunch was over and to continue eating we would be charged for dinner!
Been eating here for years due to the yummy food, but after this last fiasco were are done. Vacuuming next to our table while eating was also very classy. -

The food at the great wall is superior to the Asian buffet. Their food has so much more flavor. We Will be going to the great wall for Chinese in the Sault.

Went and got their buffet special for lunch. While not extraordinarily fresh the food still had great flavor. Waitressing staff was very friendly and were very helpful. Will definitely go back again!
